OUR MISSION
The Local Government Unit of Hindang Leyte wishes to fulfill all the interventions and undertaking of what is really needed and identified to be done. Programs which are proven effective and successful shall continuously be provided and sustained with corresponding appropriation. More efforts will be exerted for the betterment of the living condition of the constituents.
Prioritize programs and activities that would ensure the following:
- Increase in agriculture production for food security, provide livelihood opportunities to low-income farmers and fishermen, sustain the nutrition program, upgrade the delivery of basic health and social services, preserve peace and order and drug free community.
- Implement infrastructure development projects, and initiate ways and means to avail financial assistance from sources outside of the local government unit in order to realize some unattainable dreams through its local capabilities.

A tourist destination with progressive economy, sustainable, safe, and disaster resilience environment, under a competent and transparent governance supported by God-fearing and empowered citizenry.
